Prior to joining Levski in the summer of 2005 he played for FK Vardar and Ukrainian side FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhya. Recently he received a Bulgarian passport on the grounds of having Bulgarian origin.

Levski Sofia

He became very important part for Levski in the first part of 2007/2008 season. His role becomes more important, when the playmaker, Cedric Bardon, left Levski Sofia. Darko is fast and creative player with very good techniques.

Darko played an awesome derby match against Litex Lovech on 27 September 2008. Darko scored two goals, one of them with head, and he made a lot of passes. The final result was 2:0 with a home win for Levski Sofia. Darko scored in 34th and 67th minute.

On 17 May 2009, Tasevski scored an awesome goal in 44th second, against PFC Spartak Varna. The result of the match was 5:0 with a home win for Levski.

His current contract with Levski is until the end of 2011 season.

He became a Champion of Bulgaria in 2009, after a contradictory but great season under the coaching of Emil Velev. Despite the bad results during the autumnal part of the season, after great matches in the spring, Levski Sofia fulfilled the plan before the term had ended and became a champion for 26 time, before the last round has been played.

On 15 July 2009 he opened his goal account for the new season with a goal in the first official match for Levski during 2009/2010 season. The event took place in the 2nd Qualifying round of UEFA Champions League, where Levski beaten the team of UE Sant Julià. The result of the match was 4:0 with a home win for Levski.
